Technicues for Drawing Female Manga Characters

this is an intermediate or advanced book and not for a beginner. But if you can draw what you see fairly well, your skill for drawing manga girls will greatly increase after parsing through this great material. I broke out the "newsprint" pad, pencil set and sharpener, and drew along with every picture in this book over a 15 or so day period. And my skills went way up - I'm now very comfortable creating a manga girl from scratch. Highly recommended, although not the best book to carry around because of the mature theme.

The unique relationship between consumer and brand - formed and developed by this method of advertising - is discussed, and (no)copywriters talk about their approach.

Letterhead and Logo Design #7

"Letterhead and Logo Design 7" is a great addition to the library of any graphic artist. This edition contains many examples of brilliant logo and letterhead design. The book is four stars rather than five because the conceptual explanations from the designers seen in earlier volumes are largely gone from this edition. That in no way takes away from the brilliance of most of the designs exhibited in this book, however.

How to Cheat in Photoshop CS3 May 2007

The whole purpose of How To Cheat In Photoshop is to, well, show you how to cheat in Photoshop. According to the author Steve Caplin, he will do this in two ways. First he will show you how to make images that look like photos, but are really composites that you put together and the end result is something that never existed in reality. Second, it is to show you how to take short cuts and to work more quickly and economically. He feels that there are too many long winded explanations out there and he has quicker solutions.
